Dreams in Reality

Some people may doubt me
But I'm used to putdowns
I won't let them get in the way
Wont let them hold me down

Nothing will get in the way
Of the things I dream
No matter who says I can't
Won't destroy my self esteem

I've been through a lot
Won't let a tear fall from these eyes
Even when my eyes see
All the truth behind the lies

I dream in reality
Instead of when I sleep
Because when you wake you will forget
All the dreams you meant to keep

Nothing is impossible
When following your heart
If you truly want something
You can't be torn apart

I won't settle for second
When I want to be the best
I won't settle for their goals
Just so they will be impressed

I just want to be happy
And accomplish my goal
This is life is mine and no others
I'm the one in control
