Darkness Falls

Darkness falls and sadness reigns,
It will be our last meal together and it brings me such pains,
9 days gone, and 1 to go,
Our trip went well but the rain did flow,
So much in fact that it brought us together,
Even in such Hellish weather.

Morning Rises and sadness reigns,
It will be our last hour together and it brings me such pains,
No more corny riddles or jokes,
or late night bear sounds that were definitely a hoax,
No more twisted free style beats,
or rapping battles and defeats.

The bus arrives and sadness reigns,
Our last minutes together and it brings me such pains.
