Is it really better to have loved and lost?

Is it really better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all??

is it better to have felt your arms around me, holding me so close, than to feel the cold?

is it better to have flown to the highest peaks on the tallest mountain and then feel the crash to the ground, rather than never leaving the floor?

to know you is to love you,
to love you is to fly,
to leave you is to die.
