Jessica

by Michael D Nalley   Mar 13, 2005

We stopped at a place of beauty to get a bite.
We were greeted by, Jessica, a beautiful sight.
A warm attitude and a lovely smile so bright
She could take the darkness out of the night

All of the poetry written since the start of time
All the poetry hidden hence in my heart sublime
Could never do her justice in reason or rhyme
All may enjoy her beauty while she's in her prime

The Creator has blessed her with the beauty she's sharing
As I dream of angels she should forgive me for staring
