Dear God,
Are you listening are you there?
People tell me that you really care
About everyone and everything
But if that is true then where is my wing?
That one that could help me
Fly away from this misery

If you really do exist
Then why do you let cars crash in the mist?
Why are there so many people dying?
And still so many people crying?

If you are that great person people say you are
Then please show me my Grandad's shining star
Oh God please because I miss him so
But if you really do exist then you should already know

Please spare a thought for the homeless ones
The people who suffer and moan for a simple bun

Why is there so much pain?
So many people asking my help and calling my name
Why weren't you there when I needed you?
Why weren't you there when I felt lonely and blue?

Don't you care about the way we feel?
Or do we have to make you a deal?
What do I do to help make you care
To make you see the pain in this world that we share?

Don't you know that no one is genuinely happy?
Because deep down inside they're all really snappy

Why should we have to hide the way we feel?
I can't carry on living like this the pain is just too real

I don't even know why I feel like this
I can't figure it out its taking the piss

But God if you are listening to me
Please open your eyes to the world and see
That no one is really happy
Everyone is feeling crappy
Everyone is suffering
But they are just hiding
The way they are feeling.
