Giving Up

Giving up hope,
giving up dreams,
what's the point?
when you give up hope,
you let go of your rope,
the one that's save you,
times when you were blue.

When you give up dreams,
does that mean,
that you are stuck, in a boggy muck?
it looks like it,
so please don't quit.

Whats the point,
to just go back,
and re-live your past?
The one where you hoped,
the one full of dreams,
where we all coped,
and no one was mean.

So don't give up,
even when times are tough,
and dint forget,
that people care,
even those you haven't met.

Hopes and dreams,
they are a pair,
if you drop one,
the other's absence you have won.
So don't give up any,
even if you think you're ready,
to give them up,
if you do, it might add a cuff,
a cuff of your sorrowful mother,
a cuff of regret,
a cuff of things, you haven't encountered yet.
Go the safe way,
and please,
there will you stay?
