Forgotten and Unforgotten

by Ashley Mullinax   Mar 14, 2005

Forgotten is our love,
and the times we shared,
forgotten is the laughter,
and how much we cared.

Forgotten are precious moments,
when we laughed until we cried,
forgotten are these things,
because our love died.

but...

Unforgotten are the words,
you sweetly whispered in my ear,
unforgotten are the compliments,
when you spoke the words I wanted to hear.

Unforgotten are your hands,
that once ceased my pain,
unforgotten is the day you walked away,
and left me crying in the rain
