I sit alone in the dark,
trying to mend my broken heart.
Crimson tears brim my eyes,
I can't forget you though i tried.
I slowly slash my trembling wrist,
thinking it would help,
but my sorrow persists.
I make one wound for each memory,
and a deep cut,
for when you swore you loved me.
I close my eyes,
I see your face,
from your presence,
there's no escape.
Darkness consumes my bitter soul,
where my heart once was,
there's now a hole.
Broken and hollow,
I sit and cry,
Your name escapes my lips,
Then i die.
