She is radiant in her research,
copper-framed reading glasses
focusing even further her
rapt, passionate perusal of
these musty, worn tomes,
unearthing the all but forgotten,
liberating the unseen and oppressed,
bringing to light the undervalued
secrets events artisans of our past,
scribing into preservation
some semblance of memory
and pensive appreciation
for the wonders atrocities wisdom
of the narrow-visioned world.
She glances up to smile briefly
before returning to her geas
of brilliant, magnificent spirit…
despite all her skills of analysis
she does not realize that she
sits there amidst her pile of lore,
saving us from ourselves.

Alright Mr. Miles, I wasn't going to read a love poem today for I usuuuually don't like to read them oft, but your recent 3 are all love poems andi really wanted to read one of your recent ones so I had to give in.

    And, it was fantastic.
You display your incredible awe of a profoundly wonderful creature in this piece, elaborated by thorough descriptions set in glory and beauty to an extent that gives the reader an image of a perfect, glorious loved one admired by a romantic observer.
I absolutly loved the last lines,
"she does not realize that she
sits there amidst her pile of lore,
    saving us from ourselves."
Those add even more content and admiration to the image portrayed by the ongoin praise throughout the piece, and the last line I adored.
    Wonderful job

A saint in her own right, or one of our saviors the same. Your handsome description of her cause forbids ignorance. Great job.
