You don't see the pain I endure
Please see it, feel it, then find a cure
Because this silver blade won't go away
It seems to find itself back onto my skin each day
Onto my skin the silver blade goes
Deeper and deeper until my blood flows
I sit and watch as my blood starts to spread
Wondering how long I sat and how long I bled
I rest for a while with the blade's sinful caress
Then i come back to myself, I'm such a mess
And then I think of you and I come to realize
That all these times you never saw it in my eyes
You never saw that this is because of you
You're the one that makes me do the things I do
These marks have had a lasting effect on me
And every time I look down at my arm, you're the one I'll see
