One Moon

The glow covers all who stare at her beautiful face

she is there when we sleep but we wake and she is gone without a trace

Something about her that makes everyone smile

The night seems to bring peace all the while

If only she could stay longer, so we could stare at her beautiful shine

She wraps her shine around us and makes us feel fine

I see my breath rise up in the steel cold night

Not sure that everything is going to be all right

But for this moment that i can look up and see this one moon

i know things will turn out good very soon
