Obsession Of The Heart.

by AMANDA M   Mar 14, 2005

Drowning myself in work,
Trying to forget you exist.
One thing after another,
As though I was posessed.

Every victim played with,
Like a silly chid's toy.
Though it was working,
There was no real joy.

Usually always being spoiled,
And getting what want.
Then you came along,
And not having you was a taunt.

Every-time you pull away,
Raised my excitement even more.
You became my obsession,
My greatest achievement which raised every pore.

The harder you became to get,
Was tearing me apart.
Now your more than aa obsession,
You're the judge sentencing my heart.

    I really like it.
Sad how guys can pretty much take over us all the time. Make us anxious and all.

I loved how this poem had a great flow and how everything went together. Oh and in the 3rd stanza is says "And getting what want" I think you forgot to put an "I" there. Great poem, well done.
