My Way

by Dare Id   Mar 14, 2005

Starting as an infant
I noticed many things from a distance

Beginning like a novice
I noticed many stories

And trying to get into the world of knowledge
I got the privilege

Getting into the mysterious world
Which I cannot describe precisely with words

I never expected some set back
Which I later fought back

I suffered rejection
Which led me into total dejection

I asked myself, “Can I make a headway?”
Something keeps telling me, “You are on the way!”

My drivers drove me into the wilderness
Then I was in a total darkness

They were too hostile
Just like a crocodile

I had to face many things on my own
Yet they pretended not to have known

Just in the same vein
Many things went in vain

I kept the ball of struggle rolling
And the flag of hope flying

And I asked myself again, “Can I make headway?”
“Hey! It’s good to have a sound mind, you are on the way”
