Tears of a fallen angel

I wrote this because i always felt like i was that angel- fallen and unable to fly again.

She sat there crying silver tears
She could no longer fly
A devil boy who loved her
Came and begged her not to cry

Her tears were full of beauty
As priceless as solid gold
Her eyes were filled with sadness
In her story often told

Her face was wet from crying
And she never made a sound
She hid herself but finally
That fallen one was found

The tears of a fallen angel
Are full of her despair
They reach out to the whole wide world
To anyone who’ll care

So if you see that angel cry
Don’t look then walk away
For the tears of her broken spirit
Will haunt you every day
