Was it real or a dream

I met a girl who makes me think
when I look at her I'm afraid to blink.

If I close my eyes I might lose her forever
so I stay awake for all eternity isn't that clever.

Then my mind starts to wonder on the past.
are theses feelings for her meant to last.

I see my life the way It use to be, is It for me.
all the fighting and name calling, I just want to be free.

There comes a time when you got to closes your eyes.
you are afraid to open them because it might all be a lie.

Then out of nowhere you feel a warmth, a soft touch.
your eyes fly open, but no ones there.
