Zoe

A little girl asked me
If I could write a poem
So here one is a gift to her
One for all to see

She asked me to give her one
That would pay her homage
But right now I cannot think
Of how that can be done

This little girls name is Zoe
And she quite fun to be around
Always joking with everyone
I’m glad that she knows me

She is quite the poet too
She writes them all the time
Many fun and some sad
She might write one for you

Well, I do now know what to say
For a girl like her
She is just fun to be around
And she will make your day
