Never As Pretty As You

by ntv650   Mar 14, 2005

I know I’m ugly,
That it’s true I’ll never,
Look anywhere near as,
Beautiful as you.

And I realise that I’ve no charm,
When I utter my speech is not sweet.

Ladies like you were not designed for me,
I’ll never be as glorious as you, inside or out.

But Perhaps, one time,
When you look at me.
It’s not the face that you’ll see
Or voice that you’ll hear.
But the love and wanting
That hides within these words,
These words I fear you will never read.
