I'll always miss you

by Shelby Bridges   Mar 15, 2005

She said she never met a stranger
and she never owned a car
The bus was her way of traveling
to places near and far

She never owned a fancy coat
to keep her from the cold
Instead she saved her money
to make things for me she sewed

She worked hard to make me happy
and she never ask for much
But when sickness fell upon me
I felt love in every touch

As I think of all the things
she sacrifice for years
So I would know her love
would shield me from my fears

I never got to say goodbye
or again look upon her face
So I'm thankful for the years
and memories I can't replace

Mom,

I'll always miss you...

I know that saying im sorry would just add to a long list of people who already have and i know that it does nothing to heal the heart and you should know that you are very brave and talented and you will make it through this i know.
please tell me what you think of my work and many thank you's!!!</3
