Last Night I Saw a Shooting Star

Last night I saw a shooting star,
Right outside my window,
I felt like I should make a wish,
Whilst lying on my pillow.

Star light, star bright, upon this star I wish tonight,
I wish for just only one day,
Where everyone’s pain would go away.
I wish for a lovable boy of mine,
Who treats me right, and won’t be a swine.
I wish for an end to my depression sprees,
And for my temper just to freeze.
I wish for friends both new and old
And in my mind, they’re made of gold.
I wish for the classic “pure world peace”
And for all the fighting just to cease.
I wish for everyone who is a victim,
To pull there head up and stick out their chin.
I wish for me to really be loved,
And for our hearts to fit like a glove.
I wish to forget a certain night
When I found out I wasn’t alright.*
I wish for no one to take advantage of me,
To not worry and to be carefree.
I wish for my best friend to come back to France,
And for her parents to no longer say that she can’t.
I wish for a girl, the best luck with him,
I hope that their love will never be grim.
I wish for everyone to become what they will
And to live their life with excitement and thrill.

However, that’s a lot of wishes, you see,
If I can have only one, make everyone free.
