I wish I had a better life

Mama said she hates me,
Daddy said get out the door,
Never knew how much hate there was,
and it's growing more and more,
Mama's yelling, Daddy's mad,
While I'm in the corner trying not to look sad,
Tears flowing down my cheeks as they argue,
What does arguing make?
How much more can I take?
I'm hurting inside, I'm hurting outside,
What happened to our family I wonder,
My life is a big thunder,
My only solution is to run,
Run as far as possible,
Maybe this is a nightmare,
Someone pinch me, someone wake me up,
I'm trying to make something of myself,
All I can do is be a street elf
I cry every day, I cry every night,
I wish I had a better life.
