My mommy was cooking dinner,
i was watching TV
everything was great,
until mommy told me,
"You me and your sisters are moving to another house"
i didn't get it...so i said,
"what about daddy?"
I could see the tears in her eyes but,
she gave me a hug and went back to dinner,
leaving my question unanswered
i didn't know what it all meant really,
but i just started crying
and a few days later we left daddy behind
and he became part of my past..
