The only thing on this wrist will be a watch
none of my shirts will have a red blotch

i will do this for you because you do it for me
i will promise to you to stay scar free

even though it might tempt me still
i will never do it on my own free will

i will never put my wrist to a sharp edge
i will never cut myself, that is my pledge
