I would give anything to heal the pain you are feeling right now,
you need to stop thinking of the why, where's and how,
I know that you have so many questions and guilt from that night,
keep in mind these are questions you will never get right,
you did not but the keys in his hand and watch him get behind the wheel,
it wasn't your job to tell him drinking wasn't the way for him to heal,
I promise you he will wake up from this and give you that quirky smile,
you were given an inch and went the extra mile,
I am worried about you and the blame you have put on yourself,
now is just the time to worry about his health,
he loves you and always will no matter who you are dating or with at the time,
for six years he was lucky enough to be able to say "she was mine",
so now you need to start to take care of you,
you and I both know that your love for each other always was and is true.
This is to my best friend who's ex boyfriend was in a severe drinking and driving accident. He still is in a coma so pray for him. Thanks for reading
