More than a Dream

by RCM   Mar 16, 2005

She seems like a dream
If you know what I mean?
The face, the hair and the eyes
Why didn't’t I realize before, that she is more,
More than the girl I’ve waited for,
More than the fire that burns in my veins
Whenever I hear or someone mentions her name,
More than the wish to share her sweet kiss
Or to hold in my arms her tenderness
Why do my knees shake or I get the cold sweats?
What wouldn't I give if she would only let
Me sit by her side and just hold her hand,
Or sit by the ocean, run barefoot through the sand,
Gaze in her eyes, feel the touch of her hair
Dream our own dreams naked and bare
Lie in the moonlight, chase falling stars
Ride on old Pegasus, travel afar
Wake to the sunrise with her sweet breath on my face
Tickle and tease her, get caught up in the chase.
But all I can do is to wish and to dream
No kind of a chance if you know what I mean.
Why would she look at me she doesn't know I exist?
Boys flock around her, they find her hard to resist.
So here I am, resigned to my dreams and my thoughts
All in my head for nothing, for naught
Inside my dreams it’s all so surreal
Inside my dreams I can let my heart feel
Inside my dreams I can never be hurt
Yes inside my dreams the pain goes away
And inside my dreams she’s mine, every day.
I wonder what she’d do if ever she knew
That inside my dreams there’s only us two
And how would she feel if she knew what we do?
I wish that my dreams would really come true
Please sweet dream realise that its you
Share in my dream....just me..and you.
