Daddy went to war

by lOVER   Mar 16, 2005

My Tears flowing down my face,
While I'm in your last embrace,
You told me you're going to war,
As you left..I,
Your daughter saw
The man she called her father
Walk away from a happy life,
And who is now leaving his daughter and wife,
As he turned around with tears in his eyes,
I realised that this was no lie,
My biggest fear.. Was just to hear,
That my father was no longer here,
As he walked into that car,
I realised that by far,
He was a true hero who gave his life,
For his little girl and his wife
