Will Love Keep Us Together

by summer   Aug 7, 2003

Walking down the memory lane,
Filled with both bitter and sweet,
My heart turns sour and painful,
The sharp cut is terrible.

Those were the greatest moments,
When you were there with me,
Love immersed my whole being,
That feeling was tender and sweet.

As I gazed into your brown eyes,
All was warm, all was cosy,
Every inch of my ties and knots,
Were then nowhere to be found.

The way you spoke to me,
Was full of lovingkindness,
You were the same rain or shine,
Love was tender, love was sweet.

When summer goes fall will come,
And soon winter shall rule,
As time goes by flowers wither,
And you turned bitter cold.

The warmth in me has frozen,
And love is leaking away,
What has got into you these days,
I thought you'd stay forever.

How long more shall winter rule,
Will summer ever reign again,
May it be days, may it be months,
I'll still be there for you.
