Mind, Body And Soul

Written IN loving regards to Heather M Craig.

inside I'm dark black as midnight
she looked past and seen the light
to be honest at first i was scared of her
but i was truthful, honest she did incur

to lay down next to her. Her face to mine
i will mend her heart, it's just going to take time
there are a lot of things I'm thinking about now
so many questions to ask not sure if I'm allowed

before her i felt my mind was polluted
she came along and seen right through it

i want to know all her dreams and aspirations
what she thinks about while writing salutations
she is a new and exciting world i want to explore
i hope she doesn't turn out like all the others before

i want to know that she told no lies
i want to be proud to show her to the Guy's
i want to go to sleep with her knowing i'm her one and only
i want to know that what is under the covers belongs to me solely

Heather i know you've had a bad past.
just give me a chance, i know our love will last.
