My last goodbye

This is the time, i knew by instinct
when i must bid my last goodbye to Friends and relatives.

From my deathbed i gaze the bright blue sky, full of hopes and new life.

With a deep sigh i found the day perfect to embark my new journey from life to an unknown destiny.

My spirits became calm n composed i felt no fear or pain to cloud over my thoughts.

I took a journey down to memory lane ,eighty decades ago when i drew my first breath.

One by one i unfolded my long preserved memories with smiles and tears i took this last journey.

Life have been a long unpredicted mystery ,at times filled with overwhelming happiness at times insufferable with pain and agony.

I closed my eyes followed with a silent prayer and experienced a blissful feel of heavenly nature.

Finding myself surrounded with known and dear faces i found comfort and my ultimate strength.

With little difficulty i managed a fragile smile and in low voice whispered "my last goodbye".
