Diversity

The knowledge of the soul
Hatin’
Hypocritical
Scars
The in ability of those whose minds have closed of seeing the spectrum of humanity leads to the finite discourse of resource of oil, sweet oil
The riches of the world are not to be understood in dollar signs cashier lines concrete forests and steel florists
The wealth of the world must be measured in the stories of elders told of times when bones weren’t weak and bodies more then willing
To embrace and honor diversity is to embrace and honor our own nature of being and the nature of others
We are all connected whether we know it or not, whether we embrace or resist it.
Like colors in a prism
If we could move about the world with our eyes closed, unable to see brown, yellow, white, red… would our hearts open more?
I see you with your radiant hues
My heart is warm with the reassurance that you acknowledge who I am
I embrace you for your language so different then my own
Literacy
When stories are told it’s not the nouns and verbs, sentences and words but in depth and meaning, the intricate gleaning of hope, everlasting and crushing defeat
You hold my hand and I hold yours
To be a carrier of peace inside and out
With many voices, one song
Many hands, one rhythm
World
One nation
