Exit Stage Right

by Heather Horwood   Mar 18, 2005

You have broken my heart,
And trodden on my dreams,
You did not tread softly,
They are torn at the seams.

And after all this,
All this and more,
I STILL love you,
Through the pain and the gore.

I cant understand it,
Why leave me that way,
Through the bluntness of text,
No true feelings to convey.

Know this Heather,
The only one I love,
That you are and always will be,
All I'm thinking of.

There is a black hole inside me,
And its all consuming,
Leaving a void,
The emptiness confusing.

You don't love me,
Not anymore,
What am I to you now?
Just another ex? Or more?

I hope you are ok,
And not feeling the effects,
Of having to wade,
Through lifes shitty mess.

So now this show is over,
Done without a fight,
So I'll leave now,
Through the exit:stage right.
