I tried to die

I tried to take away my own life
I was too upset with this world
So many problems, so many mishaps
i decided to leave this cruel world

It was raining heavily, thudering loud
I set off to the shore of the sea
I would easily jump off there and then
Die in there, with no trace of me

But just then i heard someone call me
A sweet voice...and familiar too
Soon i saw a familiar face, my friend
He hugged me and said dont leav me i love you

I told him what i had to do next
leaving him, i just had to die
but no, said he...still hugging me tight
Promise me u wont ever say bye

I smiled and he gently pecked my cheeks
with his hands he dried away my tears
He locked my lips with his and kept me quiet
He was slowly taking away all my fears

I realised how much he loved me
I cannot leave him alone like this
I had to live, for someone needed me
I had understood what real love is

I hugged him tight, I told him no
No, i wasnt gona go away ..nowhere
I'm gona love you as much as you do
I ll never leave you, I ll always be there

There in the heavy rain, i learnt, as we stood
Whispering sweet vows of love together
If someone loves you as much as they could
Love them back, and love them forever.
