The girl in the mirror

She stares into my eyes
i know she hates all that she sees
i pray that she'll accept me
so i get upon my knees
i ask her for forgiveness
the tears fall like rain
she is heartless, cold
her pleasure is my pain
she tells me i am nothing
and reveals to me, her hate
i say there must be something i can do
but she says it is too late
and i silently wish to myself
that i could just die
there's nothing i can ever do
and it would be a waste to try
so with tears in my eyes
i look up only to see
that the girl staring back
is none other than me.
