What is this, you think you see?
The pain that lays so deep in me?
The horror itching for my heart?
To grasp and tear my life apart?

What is this, you think you know?
The cause of why I stay so low?
The sadness stealing all my life?
The joyful agony that is my knife?

What is this, you think you hear?
The screams of reason in my ear?
The sorrow haunting all my dreams?
The rips that sound from my seams?

What is this, you think you speak?
The words that I seem to say so weak?
The torments of the world past?
The knowledge of woe coming to the last?
