What did you think?
when i just walked away
did your heart bleed?
did it scream?
did you think i would turn around and stay?
did you smile inside, thinking i'd be back?
did you think it wasn't really goodbye
like all the other times before?
you thought it would be like that
but you opened my eyes and set me free
though you ripped me apart and shattered me
you threw me away and it's then i had seen
what a strong woman i was yet to be
and still you'll see that i won't cry
and everyday you will feel the pain burning through your soul
but it will be to late
because i am gone
