Waiting

Sit and watch the world go by
out the window i stare
wish, hoping and trying to see
someone who isnt there.
I dont know who i am waiting for
i dont even know why
but i know that one day he will come
all i have to do is try.

so i am on my own
just as it has always been
my life is going round and around
if only i could have seen
that right in front of my eyes
was the one thing that i need
a friend a love all at once
