I'm alone
wanting to be held
to know I'm safe
from that dark dark place
but my thoughts always go back
they never drift away
they always stay the same
A displaced little girl
Wept years in silence
I press on night and day
To keep on living
And tried to many ways
To keep my soul alive
obviously I'm trying hard enough
cause I'm still here

but also still alone
