I Can't Predict

by Cheyanne   Mar 20, 2005

Time slips as new morning grows
sun's arms wide open
warms our souls

Showered rain drops dance on the pond
as the rhythm coincides
with the beating of my heart

I see the storm clouds form in your eyes
wondering if that one day
we will finally have our time

I can't predict our heart's smiles
I can't predict our lives together
I can't predict our soul's departure
as much as I can't predict the weather

Life as such the moon
interchanging with time
it's course routed
inconstant as it may be
but unpredictable patterns aligned

Although it rises and falls
it's large but from here so small
as such you to me
you may be one person
but you're my whole world
from the skies, to the earth, to the sea

I don't know where we're going
nor how we'll make it through
but I know one thing my love
I predict.. I'll always be loving you

*To my dear Auliya, I'll always love you no matter what
