Voices

Angry voices in my head
Are telling me to move on
And no matter how hard i listen
With him is where i belong

He has my heart, he has my soul
He keeps every piece of me
He can tear me down, push me around
And still i wouldn't see

His love has surrounded me
Made me desperately weak
He is the voice of my heart
I hear him when he speaks

He tells me to hold onto him
Then the voice in my head fades
He takes over with his sound
Makes me feel so unafraid

He promises to come back to me
Says i should just bide my time
He assures me it won't be much longer
Until he will again be mine

But wait, whats that? I hear a voice
Very faint inside my head
Telling me not to believe it
For those were words he once said

She tells me that I'm stronger
Strong enough to fight back
To tell him once and for all, where to go
And not to fall for his trap

And i know they always say
You should listen to your heart first
But my heads telling me different
And I'm so scared I'm gonna get hurt ...
