I hate my Dad,
It has taken a while,
He left me,
And I cared about him,
Would it have been easier if he had hurt me?
Would that have made me shed less tears,
But I will need know,
I am glad I don’t see him,
But I do love him still,
Even if I don’t show it,
He left me,
And my emotions showed,
And know we don’t talk,
I know you can’t change who your dad is,
But you can change the way you are,
And I won’t let him ruin my judgment,
Because I am better than him,
I am and always will be,
I wasn’t my fault,
It was his,
And I am glad.
