Before time

Isn't it strange
just think in your mind
and go all the way back
before there was time

what was it like
was there anything there
was there any concern
was there even a care

where was God at
did he have fun
now theres so much
look at all he has done

i wonder what it looked like
was it just a bright light
was God all alone
i bet everything was white

i bet it was boring
with nothing to do
but he already knew
about me and you

isn't that crazy
that he knows and sees all
i wonder if he is short
no i bet he is tall

just try and think back
before all the stars
before he made this earth
and Jupiter and mars

before yesterday
and before last week too
even before last year
and before he made you

just close your eyes
use your imagination
and try and think back
before this great nation

just go as far back
as far back as you can
when God was the only
the one and only great man

now that your there
what can you see
look there it is
a God that loves me
