Mourning Death

by Idiosyncratic   Mar 20, 2005

Mourning death
Is like craving desire
Gasping for breath
Warming a fire

It cannot be helped
By want-- no matter how strong
Cannot be escaped
Even if it was wrong

On a ledge
Sitting by itself
Never to escape
From the loneliest of shelves

Death is blessing
Never a curse
Because, finally
Life cannot get worse
