What is love
besides the feeling
that takes all our hearts
and makes them so revealing

takes all our thoughts
and all our emotion
and combines it all
into life's true devotion

but limited is life
with each second passing
but with true love
comes life everlasting

a life so beautiful
a life so free
a life with a soul
that everyone can see

open your eyes
and do not fear
for that perfect love
is ever so near

it is inside us all
waiting to be found
and it is the reason
that this world turns round

for imagine a world
with no love at all
hatred would rule
and demons would crawl

but in all the darkness
and all the despair
there shines a light
as small as a hair

catching your eye
is this small growing light
that takes a world of black
and makes it perfect white

without hate without fears
to keep us from life
without blood without tears
to keep us in strife

is a world so astounding
with unlimited knowledge and wealth
its even more beautiful
than life in itself

what is this perfection
this guilt free high
it is true love
seen through the minds eye
