This is not a ponsy love song,
or a chair made for two,
and defiantly not a poem written for you.

this is just some lines on paper,
just some words from my head,
not something special to take to bed.

don't be surprised,moved or touched.
by some words in any order,
that gushed and split out my head.

don't believe some lie,
that this is how i feel,
that this is what i mean,
that this is the real deal.

i don't need all this crap,
this lying and taking,
this won't fill the gap,
that i have been faking.

and because i won't write a ponsy love song;
or make a chair for two;
you'll have to believe that this is my way of saying, i love you.
