Reflection

Reflections of me and you
are passing through my mind.
I try to forget about it but
a memory is all I find.

We never really got along
or even loved each other.
It was like a childish game
to use one another.

So many endless nights
I spent thinking of you.
but you called it quits
and it was through.

Am I not quite good enough?
Don't you love me anymore?
Am I not the girl
you were looking for.

I need to feel you cared
even once upon a time for me.
I need to understand
why you left me there so helplessly.

I haven't come to terms with how
we sadly had to say goodbye.
You claimed you loves me,
it's too late to wonder why.
