Better kept inside..

Everyday is another day
Another smile to fake
One more time to pretend
That we didn't make those mistakes

Its another moment
To glare across again
To wards all of your old "friends"
Leaving the good times for then

Another dreadful hour
Every minute another thought
Of things you'd rather forget
Except they just come up a lot

More feelings kept inside
Some tears wiped away
So people will see the happy
Like any other day

But you just want to yell
Really loudly scream
The thing thats running through your head
"I'M NOT WHAT I SEEM!"

You're tired of people talking
About what they don't know
You just want to live your life
Without having to go

You just don't want to run
Away from every single thing
You want be as strong as you can
And take what life can bring

But it seems so hard
With what everyone has to say
Bringing you down lower
Every single day

But you can't do that now
You'll be broken even more
With everyone else's words
This time they'll lock the door

So it's best kept hidden
Secretly gone deep down
Where nothing gets revealed
Not even that sad frown
