Maybe

In this whole world of nothing
You continue on trying to find a way
You go one realizing
That you'll make it day by day
In this whole world of confusion
How do you make it through
Do you just let it roll off your shoulders
Realizing that life is just something we all have to do
In this would of pain
Do you ever ask for help
Realizing in the end that you are all by yourself
In all my years of life
And of just wishing it was done
I often wonder if perhaps I may have jumped the gun
Maybe there is a reason to live
Maybe we just have to find the reason we move on
Maybe in this whole world of nothing
There is something
That will keep us strong
We may not see it at first
Or ever want to see it at all
But there has to be a reason
Why we bother to get up
When we stumble and fall
