Forget the girl in the corner,
With the darkened, shadowed eyes,
Forget the girl in the corner,
For she sits alone and cries,

Forget the girl in the corner,
As she blinks away the tears,
Forget the girl in the corner,
Hiding from her fears,

Forget the girl in the corner,
The one who sits alone,
Forget the girl in the corner,
The one who can't find a way home,

Forget the girl in the corner,
Who seems so out of touch,
Forget the girl in the corner,
Who's never happy much,

Forget the girl in the corner,
Who likes keeping to herself,
Forget the girl in the corner,
As she puts the blade back on the shelf,

Forget the girl in the corner,
With cuts all up her arms,
Forget the girl in the corner,
Who is exposed to all earth's harms,

Forget the girl in the corner,
As she sits and reads,
Forget the girl in the corner,
With the marks from which she bleeds,

Forget the girl in the corner,
Forget the scars you've seen,
Forget the things you said to her,
Forget how you were mean,

Forget the girl in the corner,
Forget she hides her face,
Forget her slits as she sits,
In her own forgotten place.
