Love is a four letter word
But so is the word pain
Love is a special word
But in the end what do you gain?

a shattered heart broke in two
a spell of crushed confidence
All the pain loud as drums
But in the end a deadly silence

Love is a four letter word
But so is the word hurt
Love is a special word
In the end you feel like dirt

So why do we put our self
In a postition for all these things
Why do we try so hard to break
Loves fragile wings
