Alwayz Tellen You

You and i have gone through so much
shed pathetic tears, broken hearts and such
but there comes a point in time
when your no longer on my mind
a decision i made to find something new
my final words; I'm through...
even to this day i have a flash of the past
the darkness and broken glass
the shattered remains of my heart that you left behind
pieces you left for someone else to find
now your right back at my door
and i don't want to go back in time anymore
the strength i had to pick myself back up after the fall
pretend as if i didn't remember anything at all
i learned to wipe the tears and just let it go
if i didn't leave and save myself what would have happened?
..i don't know..

    Heatha - great poem, awesome imagery, astounding verses flowing beautifully and freely. Your vision is limitless, and I especially loved the lines "the shattered remains of my heart that you left behind
    pieces you left for someone else to find" I found that hard to misinterpret and easy to grasp as a feeling I think many can relate to, definitely females, cuz you know you're all together in this fight for your survival and acceptance, I prey he hurts you no more, and you and keith make new memories that replace any sad ones you might still have. dont forget your past, learn from it and move on. Great poem girl, as you well know.
