You were truly a gift,
That God sent to me,
Two weeks after Mom's death,
What a joy and blessing you would truly be.

When I saw you for the first time,
And I looked into your beautiful eyes,
I was just so thankful,
All I could do was cry.

I can not explain the love,
That I have for you in my heart,
You were that ray of sunshine,
That I needed from the start.

You are that little girl,
That I never had,
You've brought joy into my heart,
And I always need you there.

You are my precious Angel,
And we have a bond so dear,
You know if you ever need me,
I will always be here.

Well, Happy 8th Birthday Sweetie,
Grandma will always love you,
You'll always be my Angel,
And the love of my heart too.
